I couldn't care less what you buy; I just don't like that links get ignored or the only part of a post that gets any recognition is the "from a salvage yard" when I clearly stated there was a new one for a couple bucks more.

Of course. I love challenges like that. I have salvaged a few LEDs from various junked devices. Might require some precision surgery, including soldering. Might require skills I and most others don’t have. Rarely economically worth the effort.

If they were still available that would be great !!!! But they arent anymore apparently. Funny this thread was revived as I noticed the other night that the Traction switch light went out now. Im going to hit a couple salvage yards soon and snag a few, once I replace those if I find any, Ill break the old ones down and see if I can fix the bulbs somehow and use as spares in the future.

I have about 6 used fog light switches and none of them light up they all work but no illumination wonder if someone can re solder a new led bulb would love to have a new one but I’ve looked everywhere high and low no luck at all.
