Front Suspension Torque Specs

this is a spreadsheet that I threw together. I print it and laminate it for when I work on my HHR. If you can help with any missing data, feel free. Thanks

How tight? About a quarter turn before it breaks ought to do it!

Be safe out there this Wednesday hump day.

Actually I used your link to initially create the spreadsheet, then verified and filled in some missing data from the GM Service Information website. The GM Service Information website has it's missing data and discrepancies as well. I have also reffered to Moog tech support and Cloyse tech support to obtain torq values. The spreadsheet is a work in progress where I would eventually like to add every fastener size (with a hyperlink to the part number) and socket size for that fastener. Your link is great, but when I am on the floor with grease on my hands, the laminated hardcopy version is more practical for me. Believe me, in the past I have crawled my old self up off the floor many times and go in the house, pull up HHR Network on the ipad and look up your link to find a torque spec. I am real OCD in that I feel everything absolutely has to be torqued properly. Thanks

Don’t mind the sarcasm. It’s a treasured part of the ChevyHHR.net experience. I think your spreadsheet is a great idea and I appreciate your efforts. I look forward to printing it out when needed. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I don’t take my IPhone into the garage unless I’m filming a how to video, I don’t like grease and oily finger prints on it! Damn OCD !
