Torque Steer

How do you calm down the torque steer when under power. Bushings? Motor mounts? What?

2 hands on the wheel

Motor mounts would just add to the torque steer I think

Not really sure about an LS, but on my SS the TTR front mount eliminated alot of the torque steer.
It also clears up the "wheel hop" you get from spinning the tires.

The upper mount did the trick on the SS, haven't noticed the LT do it much.

Crappy tire will also contribute to this condition..they will 'hunt' for traction between sides causing it to see-saw

I drove it this morning with my regular tires on it and peg it and it didn't do the torque steer as much so I bet it was the crappy studded tires that was doing it.

Studded tires, yes I believe that could be the culprit,

Yeah, torque steer requires something called 'torque'
Even at the dragstrip I didnt notice any, less than other fwd cars ive driven anyways.
Ive wondered if they programmed something into the electric power steering to counter it, but thats probably just wishful thinking.
With the supercharger I hope to test such theories.

Tires, mounts, and ofcorse lsd. And watch your throttle. When tires are just spinning, your not going anywhere fast. Think of how it would be if you sat in the 400+hp/torq club...:/
