Fuel leak?

I recently had been noticing a gas smell when I get out of my car. No smell while the car is driving and no actual mechanical issues. I had work done on the car 2 weeks ago (brake system flush, oil change, replacing the control arms and ball joints, and front brake replacement). The last few days I've been seeing a small puddle just in front of the rear wheel on the drivers side. It smells like gas. Could there be a small hole in the gas line in that area? I haven't had any issues with the gas gauge or fuel mileage.

Yes, very common problem. They tend to rust out under the plastic clip where snow/salt tend to gather.
it can either be cut out and spliced or completely replaced. If you replace one replace both.

you got a rusted fuel line on the drivers side before the rear wheel .. common spot you can patch it with fuel injection hose or replace the whole line .. there are plenty of threads on this just do a search ..

Thanks all! I’m going to try to replace them myself on Saturday. I’m not very mechanical, so I’m not that confident!

If you use the nylon or plastic lines it is much easier to maneuver them into place!

I think it’s not just the outside of the tubing corroded, but from the inside from, today’s fuels.
