Has anyone come up with a creative way to add Homelink buttons or "intall" a garage door opener somewhere out of the way? I really hate the whole clip-on thing. I had thought about getting a rearview mirror with homelink, but I have Onstar and I don't think it is compatible (plus is probably more than I want to chew). I know in some other (non GM) vehicles, the buttons are mounted in the driver's sunvisor. Anyone try any mods in this area?

 

a few have switched out the rear-view mirror.

I did actually just do an Ebay search and found some interesting parts I may try. Of course I already made a tiny mistake I think - bidding on a non-rolling code part... but hopefully the store operator will forgive me! lol
