Ground for trailer wiring

I am adding the wiring for a small utility trailer. I read the towing specs for the HHR and will be well within the limits.

My question is the instructions say to drill a hole for the ground wire to the frame. No real frame. It also says not through body or exterior. Is the floor back near the tailgate considered frame for a ground.

Just sitting here thinking maybe it will be obvious when I get out there.😀

Thanks

If you remove the load floor and spare tire cover, you'll see where the battery is grounded.

That link was great. Thanks.

I was right though. I over thought it. I should have just gone out and looked. It was a very easy install.
