I understand that when you change your guage cluster, you must have it reprogramed. What about if you are simply reinstalling the origional? Does disconnecting the plug from the back change anything? I don't think it should, but i'd like input from someone who has done it. Thanks.

 

I have removed mine to clean the screen and dials ( PO was a heavy smoker) I disconnected the battery neg terminal first then removed , cleaned and replaced the cluster, reconnected the battery. No problems at all.

 

X2. Just disconnect the battery before you remove the cluster and you will be fine.
