Help

My HHR doesn't want to release the key from the ignition. Any input (even the obvious) is needed! I've a 2LT w/ auto.

Events leading up to this occurance....
Just got home.... put her in park....turned the key back. Just like every time I get home, but this time the key is stuck!

Thanks in advance for any/all info!:twothumbs

I had that happen once. I turned the steering wheel until it locked and the key came out just like normal. I also have the 2.4 with auto.

On my way to try that. Thought I had done this, but maybe I didn't turn the wheel far enough. BRB

Just returned, with no luck! The key won't leave the accessory possision, so the wheel will not lock.

That's odd. Sorry, I can't think of anything else right now.

Already tried that, as well as taking her aroung the block going through all the gears. Both results came with no luck.

Hit your On-Star button and see what they recommend - still under warranty, right?

Not everyone has OnStar. I know I didn't want it.
