Help! Shorter Shifter

I was just wondering how you would go about making the shifter shorter on mtx. It always gets in the way and something has to be done about it.

I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you

One of our supporting vendors makes a highly regarded short shift kit. Either that or with the right tools, you could cut it down and re-thread it, then you could make it whatever height you want.
