Im kind of happy with the law. Most people can't drive and talk. It's aggravating when the speed limit is 35 and some numb nuts is cruising at fifthteen miles an hour.

I still saw about 7-8 people on the phone driving today. I've had a bluetooth for months so I don't really care.. Still, the people need to be able to vote on these things. Not likely that this one would have made it if they had.

Oh HECK yes this is a pain! I drive to Long Beach twice a week from Irvine and purposely take PCH as the 405 is a parking lot most days. A little longer, but MUCH prettier.

Anyhow, I ALWAYS get stuck behind either a tourist or some dork yapping on the phone--it's one of the few places I can go 60 and dang it, I want to!

I had to chew out one of my students today who called me from his car! Reminded him of said new law...aye!

@ngelita...looking forward to the drive to LB manana with no phones!

Carlsbad and San Diego Police are giving a 30 day grace period with just a warning. Maybe other depts. are doing the same.

You might try trading ears or getting a unit with interchangeable sizes. My earholes are different sizes and it's very confusing to make the dang things fit. And I discovered on my last travels that sunglasses and bluetooth really fight each other for space over that little teeny EAR! One or the other was always getting ousted!!

I would kill for a U connect right now!!

I have to carry 2 phones around with me, the Jabra BT5020 allows simultaneous connection to both, it's great.....
