I had a 1967 Rambler Rebel Station Wagon but by then they were full size cars. That was one of the best cars I've ever owned, but I made the mistake of not having A/C! That was a big mistake around Phoenix! Used to go on vacation over to San Diego in the Summer and we all had squirter bottles so we could keep spraying each other with water too keep cool!
AAAA yes, I remember a guy on the street I lived on had I think a '37 Packard Super 8. A friend and I tried like anything to get it to restore. I also remember my dad having a 59 Nash. As for me, if I had the money, I would love to get a Cord.

But I still love my HHR

Ah!! A Cord! Now you're talking. I loved those Beauties even when I was a kid! If you saw the movie, "The Shadow", with Alec Baldwin, he rode around in a Cord taxi cab. The only thing it didn't have were those big chrome pipes coming out of the hood sides and into the fenders.

If Nash had only put front wheel cutouts on those cars I think it would have improved their appearance!

I love those old Nash cars, especially the ones from the 50's. They were so huge. The back seats of the sedans were so roomy that you could sit back there and cross your legs and stretch out. Kinda like a rolling living room. This pic is NOT stretched or exaggerated. No wonder the postwar baby boom generated such a birth explosion!
