HHR Inside door handle in metal?
This one was all metal, heavy
This is the physical store that sells on ebay and amazon.
The handles are solid metal and very heavy with the nicest chrome plating you've ever seen.
Luckily for me it's local so I just went to their store and picked them up, around 15 bucks apiece
They also have good prices on other parts

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear confirmation they are metal. I have broken several over the years and we never pulled on them to close the door. I have high hopes that this will be a permanent fix.
I don't plan to ever buy another car. I am just going to fix whatever breaks, No matter what it costs it will be cheaper than a new one. I am going to drive this as long as they still let us buy gasoline.
I didn't know there was a physical store so I ordered on line. A road trip to Pompano this time of year sounds great, I haven't been there in many years.
We have a foot of snow here in Kansas City. I'll just wait and let UPS make the drive.
