Personally, the interior was one of the selling points for me. The seats are comfy and made of a nice material. The dash also looks great with the chrome trim. I wouldn't necessarily say it is perfect, but definately better than average for me.

I also noticed the few different shades in tone on my HHR. It is the Grey Leather interior, but I like the tones throughout.

Once you get it adjusted right, there is plenty of room for big guys. I am 6'6" and 275, and fit in just fine. I'd say that a lot of room.

Although I like the interior, I just wish the seat fabric was a bit sturdier.

I'm barely 5'10" and If I drive (I don't) with the seat all the way up I got got tons of room. I didn't realize how much room was in there until I was sitting in the driver seat and leaned it all the way back. SOOOO much room compared to any other car I've had.

Definitely nothing wrong with the interior. It is perfect for the price. The seats are very comfy. I've taken it for a long trip already, and had such a comfortable ride. I have a bad back too, and had no back pain after the long trip. Everyone that has ridden with me are just absolutely astounded by the room inside. You don't feel crammed like those no power, no comfort, no business on the road, PT LOSERS.

I'm very comfy. Having the steering wheel controls are easy and user friendly. I drive 60 miles a day. I have ideas of things to mod inside the car. I'm going to do my first mod this month. I will post something cool before the end of this month.

My husband and son both fit just fine in the HHR. Hubby is 6'6" and 350+lbs, and our son is 6'8" and 300 lbs. Our son even rides in the back seat.... So that was a big selling point for us. Our family of 4 could all ride in the car comfortably. We just had to buy an HHR without a sunroof. That made a big difference to the guys' headroom.

Wow, I never would have known. I needed a sunroof in mine so I didn't even look at any HHRs without them.

I REALLY wanted a sunroof, too ...but somehow the headroom became more important than my sunroof. Go figure!
