I like it... much nicer interior than the '02 PT Cruiser that I just traded in.

I really like the interior of the car. From what I have seen there is very good build quality to the interior. I checked over everything well and have found no loose parts or major gaps on anything. I work on an assembly line putting in interior parts and have seen from firsthand experience some of the issues a manufacturer has to deal with especially on a model that is in its first year of production. Very high thumbs up to GM for a job well done

Cool DASH slightly boring....

]I felt the dash was slighly boring also.[/SIZE]

So I got the unpainted dash kit and painted it to match the outside color.

I think it added an improvment plus we took door panels off and painted the gray strip on it to match.

It wasn't too pricy but add just enough for me to improve the look and continue the color scheme.

Craig, I have never seen this before. You say you got the kit from the dealer? How much and is it plastic that needs painting or do you order it in colors? Thanks for the info. I like the doors especially.

Do a google search with HHR dask kit and you may find one different. I puechased the "Paintable" instead of wood grain or metallic finishes.
PS. I'm part color blind and thought I purchased a Charcoal Gray HHR. I'm just glad it isn't Pimp Purple.Anyway I like the color, at least what I see of it!

Here is a shadow layout of another kit that can be found at ptwoody.com This is their 26 piece delux version but, it does't come in an unpainted option.

I love my interior, but I still wish my window switches were in a different location!

I saw this after we had purchased and painted mine. I like the extra pieces with this set. But I guess there isn't one ready to paint. I don't care for the wood finished ones with the gray dash. But there are other choices in the finish. I do like mine being painted.
