HHR Panel rear door opening question.

Corvettes do have door handles. They are touch panels just like our rear hatches, just tucked under the door panel. If any FOB they use it should be the one for a mini van. Not a 'vette. The mini-van FOB has an extra button for the side doors AND the rear hatch. Sounds more reasonable to me. As for interior buttons, why not replace the rear window roll down switch with the rear door opening switch that stops working when the car is in motion. That how my parent's Quest mini van works.

Was told that they would open via a dash button, but the prototype at the show did not have them installed. So they had to reach behind the seat to open it up using the inside door handle.

That a mini van fob has already got extra buttons for the rear doors.
