HHR Pet Peeves
By far the worse part is the door locks from some old car style. Couple those with the high door frame/small window design... and my elbow area would prefer to meet the engineer/designer's face that put them there.
I have debated many times what to do with them. Remove and epoxy/fiberglass over? Replace with capped bolt? But still they, remain... grrrr

2) trim studs
3) re-install C covers
4) enjoy flush locks in lock-down..
Hmmmm.... got to remove the door panels for this? I will be doing it tomorrow. I simply hate those things... I guess not enough to dig into them but this sounds like the best option for now.
Nope, just the plastic lock knobs, very coarse thread.. I used a piece of rubber & a pair of channel-locks.. No marks & off they came..
Wizz wheel to trim studs, or whatever ya got..
Be careful on the threads as the plastic knobs can strip easy, but you could always use some JB Weld or silicone or whatever..

Light in sight - great idea! I wonder if putting one upside down on the rear window would help vision in that direction?
Well sleeper
Just did the front door lock knobs today after a suggestion here last night...
Spun off the plastic knob

Cut that down a bit cause just doing the knob wasn't enough...

Now this is unlocked

This is locked... which you don't feel. Wasn't sure I wanted to chance taking it any lower.
