How did you know the word I had used? I've been viewing some pictures with them on and they DO look beatchin (smile) but they seem to cut down on seeing out the window. Do they? I would want a dark or smoke gray color.

Hey, Chris, I found several pictures of them over in the photos section (after posting here). But even above, jx3's blue HHR shows them. They add a finished look for sure but with all the mods I have planned, might be over-kill (can't decide whether I want to to make mine murdered-out or fancy with lots of chotchkies).

For the items I'm comparing, so far the best prices come from AutoTruckToys.com but I'm just beginning my comparisons. They have good pictures and descriptions also, unlike Auto Zone.

Southerner- ESP I just knew !!!
I like the dark smoke ones.. But I prefer the In-Channel ones, they look cleaner imo..They fit in the window tract.& glue in w/ 3M self adhesive.

As opposed to the ones that glue ON the outside of doors.

As to cutting down on visability, I am used to them.. & would not go with out.. I have had them on my last 3 vehicles..

I bought 2007 used about 2 years ago. I did not like the cup holders then and I do not like them now. I do not put my arm on the window ledge, even in Huntington Beach, so the lock is not a problem. I almost never carry passengers no one has sat in the back seat so the window adjustors' position is just fine.

I sometimes wish that the arm rests would go away. When they are down it is almost impossible to get to the cup holders and the brake and when they are up it is difficult to reach something behind the front seats.

Hmmm.... My 2.4L has plenty of power for what it is..... Not an SS, but it's not supposed to be.

Nothing wrong with the 2.4 that the 6 speed transaxle could not address.

Too bad they could not fit it in. The new Nox with the same engine runs very goos and gets great MPG with the better gearing. I was shock how well it ran in a near 4000 pound vehicle.

i agree about the trans.....if the gearing wasnt so aggresive it would get better MPG. then again it would seem even more underpowered.......my hhr gets 27mph avg. on the hwy and my 95 trans am with 150k gets 25.....
