I saw that too, ugh. The smart cars are ok if the impact is low enough, but if it is higher up there is simply not enough protection.

 

I juist saw a new new Kia SUV hit a Chevy van head on here in town. THey said he went left of center at a high rate of speed. It broke in half he and two boys were killed.

The Chevy has a smashed front but the driver walled away and the impact inly broke the windshield but did not intrude into the compartment. It looked like it was repairable.
