HHR SS: let's discuss

That was great of premier07 to get us these pics!
They're the talk o' the town!

But they are pretty low-res. So low in fact it's hard to read that brochure text unless you blow up that scan in photoshop.

So as a public service and since I am such a nice guy, I will do my best to interpret the text:

INTRODUCING THE HHR SS TURBOCHARGED.

-- Finally a vehicle that can keep up with your life in the fast lane

-- A race-tuned, high-performance suspension developed from testing on numerous North American and European racetracks.

-- Five-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter

-- Four-wheel antilock disc brakes

-- Road-hugging ground effects and unique front and rear fascias

-- Aggressive Black cross-mesh grille

-- Liftgate mounted aero spoiler

-- Anaglog A-pillar-mounted titanium boost gage

-- Leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted audio controls

-- Available late fall 2007.

-- Vist chevy.com/hhr at that time for complete detail

So how about that A pillar boost guage!

Late Fall 2007!!!!

You can't order leather b/c they are special SS racing seats?

What do U think?

I think I've already talked to my salesman!

All I had to hear was Bonnie say, "We'll see." In my book, that's a YES!! Now that she's hearing more about it, she's all for it.

I knew there was a reason I married her!

Here's a pic of my future SS!

I can't believe they're not gonna offer it in yellow.

Every thing else I love.

We can only wonder how much.

Cool Panel SS

I think a Panel SS would be BADASS!

I am going to pick up an '08 HHR brochure tomorrow at my dealer, when I have my Gold-Lines installed. 24 hours from now & I will FINALLY be rollin' in a LEVEL HHR!!!

I'm trying to contain my excitement, I wouldn't want Chevrolet to get some strange idea that they are sitting on the next new gold rush. I don't want them to hike the price to a point I can't afford a new HHR 2LT Sunburst Orange Metallic SS Panel with an automatic, second row seating, running boards, sun roof, and roof rails. Mike once you get your’s can we please swap wives long enough for my deal to go through? Being I just made the second payment on the Silver Bullet today and I think Deb would surely kill me for even mentioning this to her. Only kidding about the swapping of course but it was a thought. Maybe you all could drive to Austin for a week and your sweet wife can brain wash Deb for me. We have plenty of room a nice big pool and I do cook some awesome BBQ just ask me I’ll tell you!

Im glad on another thread I read that it will also be offered as an automatic. From what im reading on other forums Turbos are auto-friendly although I haven't figured out how or why.

Do you have a link to where others are saying that it will have an automatic?
