How about velcro on the pillar and the tip of the visor (out of the line of sight)?

 

Has anyone come up with a fix for the drooping sun visor?

 

what about something really sticky, like pine pitch, on the rod inside the visor. just a thought.

 

That's a thought. I wonder if Rubber Cement would work; I may give that a try. When I extended the visor, I noticed something greasey on the rod. No idea where that came from, but maybe there's just something that has "lubricated" the rod the visor rotates on. Maybe GM has a lubricant on the pivot joint that leaks out.
