High mileage club 100,000 plus

Rolled through 100,000 on my way home from Minnesota
I've had my original 2006 2LT since summer 2006, regular maintenance mostly, and most recently replaced front lower control arms. Some interior moisture inside rear fender causing rust and paint bubbling above wheel well, where I had both passenger doors replaced in 2012 and paint on rear quarter panel was blended by dealer. So some upcoming bodywork & still hesitating on some interior mods. All my other repairs for this wagon are already documented here on the forums (sunroof, cowl leak)... Finally bought Weathertech floor liners and can tell I'm going to love them this winter. It's nearly 75 degrees outside halfway through October, the ladybugs and Japanese beetles are desperately invading, and our tree is one of a few in the neighborhood to not yet turn or drop any leaves. Like last year, it will go yellow in one day and have its foliage scared right off all at once by the chill sometime in November.

My 2006 HHR becomes 100,000 miles old, and then some... short video and 3 snapshots to celebrate the odometer yesterday/today.
That's the last of my "binary mileage" until the next 889 miles roll by. If we're counting that way, I've only put on 39 miles! (100111)2 = (39)10 Right?
Definitely still love my HHR!

ImNewHere do you have the 2.4???? Mine is encroaching upon 167K and still going strong. Luckily, either my engine lacks the oil cooler or it was removed off the record. I have hear they are one of the big nuisance problems with our year of HHR.

Yes, I have the 2.4 in mine. I really can't complain about it at all. I plan on seeing if I can get 500,000 miles out of it.

At 187000 miles I ran over a deer about 2 minutes before I got to work. Looked at the car when I got there and didn't see any damage. Started driving home after work and the engine just lost power and quit 20 minutes into the ride. Apparently when I hit the deer, the plastic radiator ends had cracked and lost all my antifreeze. The temperature gauge never registered hot, and no idiot lights came on. No steam out the radiator. Insurance replaced the blown engine with another 2.4 L with 89000 miles on it. Now it runs fine, but I still have to turn my rotors every 5000 miles. Another front wheel bearing went, struts, sway bar links, cracked exhaust flex pipe, the sunroof, and the remote start doesn't work anymore. 210000 miles now.

My '08 just turned 100,000, got pictures of the odometer at 99999 and 100000
Been running great, finally got my cat problems solved. That's been the only problem over said hundred thousand
I've read that it's supposed to get a tune-up at 100 grand. Called my dealer and he said they are starting to think that you can wait til 110,000 or more before tune-up. That true?
Then asked him about changing trans fluid, he said it's time, that true?
Sure love the car, so handy cause its a station wagon. Also doesn't look like all the jelly beans out there. Biggest problem is the stupid radio and speakers that only work in the summer if its really dry.
