Hi all, long time lurker with 2007 LT 240,000 and on she goes! Third set of tires, 4 (could be more) front pads and rotors Rear drums still original-amazing! Changing tranny fluid every 30,000 and is still
original. Timing chain at 90,000 -ouch! Great daily driver lots of bumps and bruises Have high hopes of doubling what she has now. We'll see ?

120,000 miles here. Still on factory clutch.

Replaced: wheel bearings, sway bar links, normal wear items, headlights, had to solder the fobs and the radio aux input to the board on the radio, replaced cat back exhaust as it rotted off, primary O2 sensor, plugs, air cleaner (went aftermarket to a hot air intake), and I currently have a rich condition off and on (maybe a map sensor or the maf is dirty). Ive got the annoying steering column rattle but I don't plan on repairing it.

169,699 on my 08 panel
only owned for 8k miles though, what I do know was it was hit in front psngr tire, original owner replaced entire front 1/4 clip, including suspension.
Im replacing rims/tires this month
replacing front rotors as they are warped
replacing rear struts as they are not good. (entire rear shifts when you go over rough spots on psngr rear...)
had to replace front/rear speakers as OEM had blown (1 worked... occasionally)

all in all, Im very happy with this vehicle, you simply cannot beat 30-34mpg @ 70+mph... (using a scangauge II for verification)
only issue I have mechanically is a failed start on weds and at that same time on the way home it "stuttered" once. temps (which usually stay between 198-203) climbed to 207 at night (with outside temps in in the 40* range) on that trip. so Im thinking possible waterpump/TC tensioner + thermostat is in the need soon.
but I plan on keeping this vehicle the rest of my life and handing it on to my son upon my passing, with strict instructions to keep it in the family and meticulously maintained
Ill also be doing some minor upgrades, both suspension and engine in the near future.

It's great to see how many miles so many of you are getting out of your HHRs. It's also encouraging to see an '08 SS is in the club.
I probably have one of the lowest mileage HHRs around anywhere. A '08 SS with only 80,000 Km (50,000 miles) on it. I got it in the summer of either 2014 or 15 when it only had 34,000 Km (21,000 miles) on it. I was very lucky to find one with such low mileage. It was barely broken in!
I'll post back here again in about 10 years I guess.

Keep on rockin't the miles everyone!

Just reached 140k. Am now starting to acquire parts. Installed sway bar links, have correct aluminum LCA's, next are the struts and then the work starts, again, but I love this little thing. After that comes all the timing chain parts ( 2.4l). It's a bugger that no one sells the gears, tensioners and chain as a kit. Oh, and a new water pump.

132,000 on an '08. Only problem with it is that front brakes are shuddering-shaking again. At first hard braking from high speed the steering wheel just about shook out of our hands. Replaced the pads and had the original rotors turned, but that didn't last long, started it again. So got two new Chinese rotors from NAPA, but now starting to shudder again. Guess I need to get some genuine GM parts. Is running real good had plugs replaced and tranny fluid changed at about 125,000 0h and anti-freeze flushed and replaced.

I just replaced the rotors on my 10, the dealer told me that the original rotors were a composite and that s what contributed to the warping. The also had cast rotors the said would help on the warping problem and they were cheaper. We will see. I was at about 50,000 when they warped the first time and about 75,000 when they warped again and they were replaced.
