New to the forum, greetings to all...

448,000+ miles on my all original 2007 Chevy HHR LS 2.2 liter 5 speed, of which I'm the proud second owner.

Wow - 237k - Not bad

I just sold my 07 LT with 186k for 2000 and it ran like a top - pretty good inexpensive cars. Good luck with yours !

I had the power steering assist module replaced last week by the dealership because it was still under warranty. 🙌
I have had my fair share of repairs since I bought the car in February. I think I pretty much have a new suspension. I blew out two tires by hitting a drain culvert...damn expensive French fries. The following week my steering knuckle broke and I feel I probably damaged it when I blew out the tires. Bought two additional tires once control arms were replaced.

Still waiting on quote for body work and paint.

Exclamation what new vs. 221,000 miles rotors look like

2011 lt1 w/ approx. 221,000 miles ... had a brake pulsation, so changed the rotors.

that envelope is in between the 2 friction surfaces

If those friction surfaces came apart, i don't thinks a truck load of tighty-whiteys would be enough !!!
My advice, check them rotors ALL over, when your in that area!!

These pictures saddens me as to think that you would allow the brake rotors to become DANGEROUS to others.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you are fixing them but I have to wonder why it took so long.
They had to be squealing to be changed for a long time.
