Hood Ornaments

Been looking for a SMALL hood retro ornament. Like the old Pontiac lady.

Any place have them? JC Whitney does but they are HUGE.

Use your imagination. You could find other things that aren't official hood ornaments to use but might still work as one.

There has been a member or two that have put hood ornaments on. Try a search and you may find one of the threads and can then PM the member as to where he or she got what thay used. They may also chime in here sooner or later.

I would like to see one. Of course it will require the chrome strip down the center of the hood as well.

I am from the age when all cars had a hood ornament and most did not have a chrome trip. One of the guys in the Modesto HHR Club has a 50s Chevy ornament on his HHR and if you go to the club web site you can see it in a couple of photos. I got one like it off Ebay but my wife did not go for it. Just because i said it would be her car, the only way to convince her, she thinks it is hers.

I kind of would like a small Chromed ABS one that did not need to be screwed in case I tire of it.

How about a "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate" as seen on Laugh In, many years ago?
