I think I have the same problem. I think yes the existing harness have the wires for switch.

I think it is not easy nor difficult, it is just an average.

ChevyMgr.

Do you have the pin diagram for a 2007? Mine has four PU wires and none of them are in pin 3. Also the connector to the headlights under the hood is different from your diagram as well.
