Slowly getting some of the upgrades done on the new SS.
I removed my High Tone horn from my '07 2LT when I traded it in and just put it on the new car.
I decided to take some pictures this time so maybe it will help someone else in the future...

After removing the driver's side forward fender liner - I mounted the new horn (Fiamm High Tone) with the bracket that comes with it to the center bolt on the original horn. That will provide the ground Then I made a short jumper with an eyelet to go under the pos terminal on the original horn (on the horn - not at the harness plug). Then I used one of the extra blade connectors that comes with the new horn for the pos end on the new horn. I also trimmed a little plastic from the connector so that the new wire would have a straighter angle and allow the connector to snap completely back in place (there were 3 retainers on the conn). Then I filled the gap with a little silicone sealer when I was done to weatherproof it...

Hopefully, that isn't as clear as mud...

Hope this helps someone - any questions, don't be afraid to ask - geo

Curious about the orientation of your Fiamms' projector, you didn't aim it downward to keep out moisture or water ??

Your horn use option can be changed in your DIC.

I miss my 3 tone air-horns on my truck from high school (FlareSide f150). Bought the set from AutoZone...pulled the single power line off of the stocker and attached it to the tiny compressor. Real high tone like a Ferrari/Lambo. Methinks the HHR is in need :)

I just did a Wolo Bad Boy install, it's in the how to section. Turned out real easy to do.

Chris- The Bad Boy sounds good..I've heard one a friend has..

I'll just have to try & get by with my Caddy El Do honkers..
A, C, D, & not sure about using F note horn.. Probably not, as 3 is a chord..

I have the same horn. I scare strippers with it(the same ones that bought it and other parts for me) I take their money too! Oh I'm a strip club Dj. Just sayin.
