Yes, I do NOT buy Lukoil anymore, but it had more to do with the ARROGANT, RUDE, East Asian attendant!
You didn't even say you bought there in the original post... just that they started the right-side approach.

It's funny, but I was just getting ready to post about Chavez/Citgo being worse than Russia, but you beat me to it.

That's the only one I will NOT buy from. The rest are "lesser evils" in my mind.

in the early 80's there were lots if 'Independent' Retailers. My Dad refused to buy from ANY "Big Oil" retailer. He said that was the only way to keep prices down. He called the 1970's "oil shortage...we are running out" a FRAUD a whole year before it was finally disclosed. He said it was unreasonable to expect us (USA) to pay what Europe paid for gasoline because our country was so much larger, we used MORE... were a bigger customer.....

You guys ever notice how many gasoline pipelines there are going to your area? There are only 2 in my area.

I don't think the pipeline companies care where the product came from, they only divide up what the grade is, i.e. diesel, gas, av etc. not brand.

Much like buying your electricity from a different generating company but it comes in on the same wire. Are you sure the watt you get is actually from that windmill?
