$1.79 in Jackson MI

 

We had a new .05 tax start on the first. Fuel prices went down .08. Makes me wonder.

 

Gas prices jumped a little bit in Lapeer, its now at $2.059. Anyone in MI notice this in other areas today?

 

Price should drop a little more due to the barrel hitting a low of 47!

 

In even odder news, gas in Lapeer is hovering around 1.78-1.85 now.

 

Well now, you Michiganders are getting some bargains at the pump.

The cheapest in the Charlotte area yesterday afternoon was $2.02 a gallon for Regular at the Sam's Club.

My preferred Shell V-Power Premium was $2.39 a gallon at the Winecoff Road Shell station, so Paddy got a tankful of "Rocket Fuel".

 

$1.67 at Sams in Baton Rouge

 

$1.69 on the Missouri side in the Kansas City area. Kansas side is usually 3-5 cents higher per gallon.

 

By not driving my SS very often, I'm missing out on the lower gas prices. Last time I bought gas (premium) it was $2.79 on Dec. 12. AND, I still have 3/4 of a tank left !
Maybe I should go burn up my higher dollar gas and fill up with some of the now cheaper priced premium.
Yeah, makes no sense money wise but I hate missing out on the lower prices.
