thank you everyone... i am noticing dry rot on 3 yr old Firestones... the dot date is on the inside sidewall, so i have to crawl under to see actual age..

my friend has a 2010 Ford Escape.... dry rot and low miles...

 

I at least expect my new tires to be made in the year that I purchase them, if not I reject them.
