4-speed, I thought I had a 3 speed? I'm a gearhead when it comes to pre-smog vehicles, am puzzled by the computer era.

badassbowtie, yes, I love the HHR because they are based on the '49 Suburban which is absolutely classic to me. Remember them well (born in 46), never had one myself but an uncle did.

3 "shifts" is correcti, I believe......

1st to second....second to third....third to OD


EDIT.....

This is incorrect. After carefully checking, I determined I had 4 shifts. So, it must be......first to second, second to third, third to fourth and finally, when speed is correct, fourth to OD.
