She admitted it was all her fault. She said 3 times she "really hit me hard"...gee like I needed her to tel me that. We were both surprised that her airbags didn't deploy. No one was hurt--THANKFULLY--but my back has been seizing up a bit. I was getting a bit worried when she couldn't produce evidense of insurance. Then her hubby came and he had it. ~*~WHEW~*~

I hear your pain Krejaton...thank goodness no one was injured and the lady had insurance. Bet that was pretty scary until you actually saw the proof.

Hopefully it won't be long before you and your baby are fixed and on the road again.

 

Hope your back isn't anything serious - you have 48 hours to see a doctor/hospital from the time of the accident. Otherwise any injuries can't be proven to be from the accident. Tricky but that's how the law can be manipulative. I've been in your position twice before - and as you are aware - it's no fun. Hopefully it will be repaired to your satisfaction and you'll be out cruising around in it ASAP.

So far, my HHR has been "pretty normal" since it's been repaired. I'm still a little ticked that the fuel door still seems crooked but thats just my OCD...

As far as the 75%-80% of value to total... my ION had $12,285 in estimated repairs and the vehicle was only worth like $9,000. The insurance company still had to think it over whether or not to total it...

 

Thanks for the well-wishes. The kids are doing great, they show no ill effects. My back was real gimpy today so I skipped work and popped the muscle relaxants (Ooo yum!) and felt NO pain! Feeling a bit better. Tried to get into Kaiser, heh sad joke. Might try tomorrow if still in pain, but someone said I had 48 hrs? Been more like 72 now!

I think this club stinks. The membership requirement is to much, to say nothing about the dues. And to part with my "sweety" is outragous.

If you don't mind, I think I'll stay with the non exclusive clubs...thank you.

 

Sorry to hear that K! Glad the little ones were alright. I got knicked in Chicago and they have had my ride now 11 days for 2 small scratches, but they also tore up a running board. Just sitting there in a parking lot and bang! At least they are paying, it wasn't that bad, but I can't believe these guys doing my car have taken sooooo long. I have had a G6 the whole time, I need Little Black Fenrir!
