Jim....

I'm sure you read about the Corvette owner who had this and it deflated without his knowledge. He claims it cost him a paint job because of the plastic to plastic contact.

Of course, he probably didn't check on his vehicle for some time......unlike most vehicle owners.

He revealed his story on the Corvette Forum.

I have used a Car Capsule for 9 years, still the same cover. It has a 4" box fan with a foam filter, 6 volt power supply that plugs into 110 volt receptacle. With the moving air you do not have ANY moisture or dust. Rodents stay out too. I use mine on a 98' BMW Z-3. I also use a battery tender witch works great, to keep the battery charged. Car always starts the first time in the spring.

Mine has deflated before like when the power go out. Not for more then 4-5 hours or until I get the generator started.

I also keep a felt cover on the car to protect the paint from scratches.
