Does anyone know if a Canadian bought 2007 HHR LS 4 door conforms to the FMVSS in the USA?
It seems the USA is concerned with air bags, bumpers and emissions.

I understand there are stickers above door locks but I am out of the country until mid august so I cannot check it.

I understand that I can import my HHR which I have had over 1 year as part of my personal belongings, anyone have experience with this?

Has anyone ever had their undercarriage steam cleaned in Calgary? If so I would appreciate the name and phone number.

Don't know why you couldn't take the Canadian spec HHR to the USA it should meet all safety and emmissions requirements.
Never had the undercarriage steam cleaned anywhere, so can't help you there

 

Not sure of the USA regulations, but I have imported FROM the USA - and Canada required an official letter from the manufacturer stating that all recalls were done, and that the vehicle met requirements. If they don't meet requirements I believe th document would state that.

But that was a north-bound vehicle. You should check the US Customs rules and regulations for their requirements.

All I see on the door sticker on mine is a CMVSS sticker - no FMVSS reference.
