Spent some time at Maxwell, a number of years ago.

Was driving a Mercedes, that I had purchased used 1 year old. The previous owner was a military person and left his "identity" sticker on the drivers side front bumper. As I approached the gate, a short line of vehicles was displaying I.D. to security peresonal. When I approached the officer, I noticed he looked at the sticker, gave a very smart salute and waved me through. The friend that I was visiting said the sticker was some kind of "brass" I.D..(not sure if that is true)...but I promptly removed it.
