Ah another time wasting project!
I nabbed a Johnny Lightning car for 3 bucks on ebay, so as soon as it arrived it was off to the bondo bucket for the first steps in it's transformation into a panel

You've got to watch the ebay listings like a hawk, scored a blue one for $4 on an auction. I have two in silver, one was carefully disassembled so I could redo the interior in black to match my '07. Make sure you post up the pics once you get yours out of the "body shop" speedwagen, I'm sure it will be cool.

VinceP-

Calling me sir is like putting an elevator in an outhouse. Don't fit.

JB Weld also works nicely for "bondo-ing".

Being a long-time diecast collector (1969) I have thousands of 1/64th scale cars. I wish that HotWheels had made an HHR (as long as they didn't try to cross it with a dinosaur or a robot (all due respect to the Transformers HHR on this forum)) or JL would re-release this with some new color schemes.

I have three JL HHR's, one loose mint (to drive around on the desk with the Magnums; I like tricked-out wagons...)and two in unopened packages, all silver; got 'em in an clearance bin at AutoZone a couple of years ago.

Slot Car

Every time I see one of these 1/64 JL cars on eBay it gets bid up way too high $$.
I race slot cars in the winter & I found a 1/24 scale HHR slot-car (clear lexan) body online. I'll be painting & assembling it sometime in the future
Super-rare. I think I found the last one in the U.S. I'll get a pic of it tonight & post it up for y'all
