Our registration stickers are on the inside of the windshield. Here's another good one:we don't turn in our plates,if we are not transfering them to another vehicle. We are to put them in our recycle box. I was told not to put both in the box,in the same week. It is suggested to spray paint one and put it in the box,and then next week,do the same.

It gets better. I borrowed a pop-rivet tool from work to put the bracket on right. It was for a smaller sized rivet than what came with bracket. So I unscrewed the brass fitting with the small hole and stuck the rivet in the tool. The rivet was stuck. I tried to force (hammer) it out from the other side with a drill bit. That's stuck now too. Looks like I'm buying work a new pop-rivet tool. And I still don't have the dern thing mounted. But, as a side note the velcro tape uses some nuclear powered adhesive that resists all known solvents in the Universe.
Stay tuned. I ain't Finnished yet.

Once you get the new pop rivet gun, why not just pop rivet the plate to the car and be done with it? Or are the crooks authorized to carry drills too? At least you won't have to be bothered with turning those pesky screws
