After veiwing for the first time my golden teal hhr in the gallery and under kelldog threads must make a comment.After veiwing other pictures and mine, the gold metal flake which is very prominent does not show up at all.My wife wanted the color on ordering, I did not. When I first saw it from the factory was surprized to say the least. All pictures I have seen make it look as if it is taken at dusk. In person in the sunlight there is ALOT of gold. Changes color as you move. Probably the least popular color, but have to see it at a dealer. Very glad she picked it now! Doing the dishes for a month for penance for the first time after 28 years of marriage. kelldog

The color does look much better in person and it has grown on me more and more. I would like to see Chevy do a darker green however. Maybe something like a forest green.

ONe person that has to like it is the owner. Glad you did not regreat getting it.

I saw one at a local dealership. Maybe there just wasn't enough sun that day.....

Jusy trying to suggest to future hhr ownrs who are on the borderline of what color to pick Golden Teal Metalic "IS" metalic in the shade, or alot more in the sun where there is a big time golden hue . Any picture I have seen do not represent that and is a diservice to the color that somebody MIGHT be thinking of. My pictures it is almost a blue turquise. There is also a candy apple red type metal flake in there but very little. If In any sunlight you did not see this I disagree. P.S not at all pushing the color,just a opinion of other people to digest.
