keyless entry

My car was a previous rental. Is there a way to tell if I have keyless entry? Came with keys only ,no fobs.

Look at the glovebox RPO code sticker. AP3 is the code for remote entry.

I think someone here found the "missing" fob in theirs next to the spare tire under the rear floor. Worthy of checking there, as well as the storage bins tucked in behind the rear seats.

That was me, in one of the storage bins with the parcel net in a plastic bag.

AP3 is Remote Start. Gotcha George!

Pretty sure all have Remote Entry.

Remotes are cheap, the programing must be done by a professional (either GM or locksmith). NO cheap easy way.

Once again donbrew, we agree to disagree.

From ChevyMgr's old thread on RPO codes:
AP3 Lock Control, Entry - Remote, Keyless Entry, Start

But. You could be partially correct. My SS does not list AP3 on the sticker. I don't have remote start because mines a 5 speed. So. Is there a code for my keyless entry, lock ?
I might have to dig a little deeper to get educated.
