Question Little Square GM Fender Badges

Hi, I see some HHR's on the road that have the little square GM badges on their front fenders. Mine is a 2011 and doesn't have them. Neither do any of the 2011's on the lot of the dealership where I bought mine. Did GM only put these on certain production years, or did they accidently leave them off of the 2011"s? Anyone know?

They have quit using them on all cars from what I've heard.

The "Chicklets" went away in 2009 after GM filed for bankruptcy, you can get them from your dealer or on e-bay for a few bucks if you want to add them. I like them myself, but quite a few folks have taken them off for a more "clean" look.

Great name for them, "chicklets" You guys are great! Thanks for the quick reply. I kind of like them too, but might not choose to stick them on. Refrigerator magnets sounds okay though.

We call them "Chick-Magnets" and they are holding coupons(and assorted other things) on our refrigerator as we speak, glad I'm not the only one to think about turning them into fridge magnets.
