Was getting 0 volts at plug terminal E, but 5 volts lower down wire. So broken wire to plug. New pigtail, so far so good. Thanks for the info and help.

 

Loose or broken wires are common, especially if a P.O. had installed one of those goofy power chips, with the scotch lock wire tap connections.

 

Ok about 30 miles driven now. Still no return of the CEL. But I’m still having the rough shifting and slow acceleration. Almost as if it’s misfiring. Is this probably going to quit after a few more cycles, is the computer relearning or should I be concerned.

 

You can try a lobotomy; disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes. That will clear any hidden codes.
