Hey folks I just got off of the phone with John Wargo, the builder of the "Driftwood" HHR and he is bringing it out to the run on August 12th, as a non-competing participant. He doen't like the competition aspect because it is his given profession and doesn't like to cause grief...very cool.
The rest of the work for the event is moving along quite well, sponsors are responding and flyers are being distributed and kids games are being worked on. We are looking forward to any of you that can make the trip...

 

awesome id love to see that hhr !! i sent a copy of the sponsor sheet to my dealership so they may call you?? have put at least 15 flyers on hhr`s i have seen so we`ll see the wife and i cant wait bud see you there!! ps i think we`ll hit the boat afterwards and stay the night if you could recommend a good place to stay down there!! thanx for everything!!

 

"school", the lodging list will be e-mailed by Saturday to all of the guys who have been involved from the get go and then to anyone who requests info I will have a wide range of types and rates avaliable on the list. I will contact the boat and see if they would care to be sponsor maybe swing discounts or perks or something...
