Missing mileage

Yes, just looking at it one might say that but if you recall the last digit moves as you drive. My HHR has been around the world 3 times from VA to Washington state a few times and not just by me. So I know that is not accurate. This is my honda this is an accurate reading.

And this is my HHR. 56,045 miles. Like I said, you are NOT missing a digit. The HHR does not show tenths of a mile in the odometer reading. (But it will show the tenths of a mile in the trip log reading.)
You're just reading your HHR odometer wrong.
And apparently you really do have 495 thousand miles on that car.

Firemangeorge is correct. Tenths of a mile do not show on the regular odometer.

Oldblue showing its mileage

The HHR doesn’t show a seventh number when it rolls over 1,000,000 miles, your not missing a number it was never there

Please read page 195-196 in your 2007 Owner Manual (link in my sig). I'm surprised that you have that many milers without ever reading it.

Wow, I thought we had a new mystery here. But glad it seems to be ok.

In a way I think there is.
Of all of the people that have posted their mileage on here, no one that I can remember, had almost 500,000 miles.
If it has, how many parts have been repaired or replaced.

Amazing .... Do you remember how many miles were on this HHR when you bought it 7 years ago ?

The current mileage would give you an average annual mileage of 41,290 per year over a 12 year period.

That seems reasonably possible.

If you are going by that digit for oil changes, then something is wrong. My only worry would be when you ever sell it.

Ok, this thread is done, no missing digit on the odometer.

Chrea, you can start a new thread for the other issues if you wish.
