I'll throw my two cents in as an old horse trader...

Like Marzipan said, don't be rushed. I think right now the odds of vehicles being sold "out from under you" is an all time low.

Albeit, I understand preowned vehicles seem to be selling better than new - rest assured there are many 2LTs out there of all years and if this one goes you may well find another. :)

Forget all that. Go get a new '09 the way you want it. You only live once.

May I give my 2 cents without sweetening it? I think it's nuts! Maybe if the '06 had 3000 miles on it or something, but to drop 2 years, lose warranty and trade dollars down the road isn't a good deal. Just my opinion.....:)

if kbb says they are a wash, why pay out of pocket to go down two years. Not so sure that I would call this a good deal

Straight trade, don't give them any cash. Honestly if they are just asking $1250 then they are just trying to get a little money out of you. Don't give in to that.
