I removed the needless quote and moved the question out of the totally unrelated thread.

I don't know what you mean "2008 is it's own wiring and changes to other things". You must be looking on Farcebook.
What good is a wiring diagram for sensors? Follow the wires that are attached to them.

I suspect that the real question is "what does camshaft cam shaft correlation mean", like P0016 or P0017. That means that the timing chain needs attention.

Yes post the codes here please, the complete code like Donbrew states P0016 for instance

99% of the time a camshaft or crankshaft position sensor related code simply indicates the sensors are doing their job properly because the cams and crankshaft are out of time due to a streched timing chain or broken front guide.
The 2.2 had same wiring harness in the 2007 and 2008

Ecm harness which plugs into which

Hi everyone I have a 08 HHR 2.2l anyway, on the pcm I have two ports for a wire harness connection to clip into, well they're both the same size which connector goes to j1 the one going to the fuse box, or the one doing to the engine? Thanks for the help in advance

Look inside the connector, there are spaces that match to the harness, they only go into position one way.

Did you ever look at the replies to your first post? https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...ng-help-66210/

The pins are completely different one is much denser than the other.

I’ve merged both threads, let’s avoid confusion.

We don't know for sure if the 2 questions are related. Maybe ihatethehhr will return someday and tells us.

No I'm just having all kinds of problems probably with corrosion Windows got left down on this vehicle for a while they got ab the car got given up on. I put another engine in last Thursday, here it is so we can 3 days later and I still can't find why I won't start I don't have any power to my starter wire the purple wire. Ask for the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors I've got voltage at two wires one of them is a ground. Well shouldn't be a 5 volt reference wire and if there should be and I got two 12 volts and what does that mean to have a short or do I have a wire crossed in my PCM or ECM

Right now been making with the car all day. A couple more questions that I've got 6,000 something resistance whenever I touch the end of the battery cable that goes to the battery and into the fuse box and then I touch the main ground. Multimeter reads 6674 kohm also I have only one code, u0073 I do believe also I had frayed wires at the speed sensor both wires insulation was cracked and exposing the live wire on both of them right at the connector to speed sensor so I cut the old ones off got some of the little longer wire that was just the same color and everything and solder them on and put heat shrink over and reconnect it but at the moment I'm having a information center pops up saying power steering and service airbag with code new 0073 I don't think I have any fuses blown right now and I think everything works except for the starter I hear a couple clicks whenever I turn ignition forward
