What V4 were you thinking of when you listed it as a choice in the poll?

Gotta vote V4 engine here, so many interesting choices.

Lancia produced several narrow-angle V4 engines from the 1920s through 1960s for cars like the Lambda, Augusta, Artena, Aprilia, Ardea, Appia, and Fulvia.(Really sweet engines, especially in the Fulvia, what a sound they made)

Ford of Europe produced two totally different V4 engines with a balance shaft, one in the UK and one in Germany.

The British Ford Essex V4 engine.(A dog with fiber timing gears)

The German Ford Taunus V4 engine, also used by Saab in the "96" and Sonnett, the Matra 530, and the 1962 Ford Mustang I rear-engine concept roadster.(A sweet unit that really changed Saabs from 2-Stroke powered "ring, ding, ding" cars into serious machines)

The Ukrainian manufacturer ZAZ used an air-cooled V4 with a balance shaft, produced by MeMZ and used in Zaporozhets and LuAZ cars.(Judging by YouTube clips, it would be super daring, and woefully silly)

And just this Winter, Porsche announced that their 919 Hybrid Le Mans Prototype would use a small-capacity, supercharged V4 engine.

P.S. to the forum!

I think it was meant for the PT cruiser forum...other than the part about a race car. :)
