The ludicrosity of this poll notwithsanding, that's a sweet looking setup but for 10 grand, there are a few other motors I would consider. But not for an HHR though I do applaud the V8 HHR build being chronicled on this site.

 

As a veteran of many, many car shows and building 5 show cars myself, I can tell you this; anything other than a big nasty V8 under your hood will be just another non recognizable power plant that 95% of the people will walk by and not even realize all the money and work you invested in an engine change. Just my 2 cents.
