From another Xplant recepient (kidney) to another.........
Congrats on the successful Xplant!
My HHR was kind of a present as well (from M-I-L), when I had to start dialysis.
So, what kind of regimine do they have you on, and how often are your labs?

Have to go to hospital every day for first 6 months
Have heart biopsy every week for first year...
Rehab...1/2 cup a pills a day...bla bla bla
The alternative is worse...
Got conjestive heart failure from the flu a few years back at 36
no family history.. dont drink or smoke... young family...kids...
had an E.F. of 7% for 2 years(basicly unheard of)
had a defibrilator installed 2 years ago
had 4 cardiac arrests 5 weeks ago
now got new heart 4 weeks ago
doing ok
