it worked! . . . tossed on an purge valve and the remote works with the five button remote . . . i think I'm gonna stop by the dealership and show the parts guy with the tude lol . . .

Awesome, it works!!! Proof once again, we’re smarter than the average GM Service Rep.
But that’s because the HHR disappeared in 2011, so most likely they haven’t seen one in a few years.
