Car And Driver ran a comparison? What issue? I have a subscription and don't remember seeing that one but it would be worth digging it back out to look at. As much as I hate PTs a PT GT with the turbo 2.4 engine would smoke the Ecotec 2.4. It has the same engine as the Dodge SRT-4 rated at 220 horsepower in the PT. Acording to the May 2004 Car and Driver the PT GT they tested ran 0-60 in 7 seconds flat with a 1/4 mile time of 15.4 at 92 MPH. Those are the exact same numbers as the SSR they tested in the September 2003 issue. I'm glad Chevy wised up and made the SSR more powerful if a PT could run with it for like 1/2 the price. All the number above are from a 2005 model PT GT. I do not know if they have made any improvements to the 2006 model year.

Thats why we need engine parts to start coming out. I don't want to get spanked by a PT!

Then Again I think it was Motor Trend. I recall seeing a mag that compared the PT and HHR awhile ago in the supermarket. But the HHR was rated much better.

captain howdy is absolutely correct. the LS cannot have the sport suspension. I know, i went to all the classes and have to be certified to sell them. everyhting that captain howdy said about the chrome and other things is also correct. LS is the Base, 2LT is the loaded. which makes the 1LT the most versitile. you can get the chrome of the 2LT but the engine of the LS.

Captain Howdy is 100% correct!! and take that from a 32 year old, lol
