OEM roof rail cross bars

Anyone have pics of how the cross bars attach/tighten to the rails?

Maybe so….but seems oem cross bars are heard of but not to be found. Interested in pics of how they attach in the rail grooves

Looks like they lock into the slots on the rails, here is a set on EBay

I saw those,….but I just now zoomed the pic. Looks like as you say…slided in slotted track and tightens up on both sides of bars. And bar rests on too of the rails

Seems the car rarely if every were delivered from the factory with the crossbars, but they were available from the dealer.

Apparently buyers figured they could pick them up when they needed them, and few ever did.

I've only seen them in the wild once.

Why just 2?

Harbor Freight had a cut-to-length kit that fit, $75 or so? Maybe they still have it. Was covered in these forums a couple years ago.
